Youth Learning Law Enforcement
The Police Explorer program is a new progam in Plumsted, but a very old and successful progam nationwide partnering youth and law enforcement officers. Police Explorers through training and discipline will learn how to be safe and proactive law enforcement officers under one of New Jersey's elite departments. The explorers will learn about the police profession from officers with the Plumsted Township Police Department, a NJ Chiefs of Police accredited agency practicing the highest standards used in the law enforcement profession.
The explorer program is run completely by donations and fund raising. The Plumsted Policeman's Benevolent Assosciation Local #390 has been generous enough to provide start up funding for our organization. Please contact us if you or your company are interested in donating to our program.
